csa box: week 10


This week is the half way mark for our CSA season - so much goodness still to come!

in the box this week:: pears, variety of tomatoes, purple cabbage, 3 kinds of peppers, lettuce, garlic, basil, parsley, delicata squash, yellow squash, melon, sweet corn


extras:: carrots, basil, mushrooms

We got hot peppers, sweet peppers, zucchini, patty pan squash, eggplant, beets, carrots, napa cabbage, spinach, lettuce, swiss chard, kale, rosemary, basil, parsley, onions, and tomatoes. Phew!

Our farm also does a lot of u-pick for some of the more labor-intensive crops. U-pick this week was sun gold cherry tomatoes, paste tomatoes, cilantro, blackberries, raspberries, and flowers. What a treat...

gorgeous...these look so fresh and tempting....i go to knw about CSA from ur blog....i checked internet for this and feel that its a nice concept....we dont have such advantage here....we buy from stores or from the local vendors who bring fresh vegetables and fruits daily...inspired by u i m planning to put pics of fruits and vegetables regularly on my blog.
